Oct 12, 2022 · Obfs bridges work by being not publicly listed and getting distributed directly. When you are a user of Tor and need a bridge you request that bridge once and add it to your Tor configuration. Once the bridge IP address changes you can no longer reach it. You cannot run an obfs bridge without a static IP address.
Dec 6, 2017 · After installing simple-obfs on my virtual server, I took a screen cap of the server info (host IP, password, etc.) given. I rebooted, and I think my mistake came from starting up SSocks like normal: picking a port and password and leaving it run.
